The night everything changed

Two best friends — Cleo (a stylist who spent weekends tailoring dresses for clients) and Belle (a former buyer who knew the margins behind “affordable” fashion) — were getting ready for a friend’s engagement party when the familiar dilemma hit: a closet full of almost-right dresses. Everything they tried was either flimsy and trendy-for-a-week, or beautiful and wildly out of reach.

Cleo pulled out her sewing kit. Belle opened her laptop. They sketched, pinned, and re-cut an old dress on the kitchen table — smoothing the waist, balancing the neckline, lengthening the hem so it moved, not clung. That night, strangers asked, “Where did you get that?” The answer became a question of its own: What if great design, flattering fit, and real-world prices could live in the same dress?

From kitchen table to first drop

They spent months reverse-engineering their favorite silhouettes and testing them on real bodies — friends, sisters, coworkers, sizes XS–3X — refining until each style passed a simple test: you forget about the dress and remember the moment. They called the pattern system Sculpt & Skim™: strategic seams that contour where you want definition, and fluid lines that glide where you want ease.

The first 30-piece drop sold out from a single post. A tiny studio followed. Then a waitlist. Then late nights auditing fabric mills, rejecting anything that didn’t feel luxe in daylight and flattering in photos. Every new style had to earn its place: one you reach for on ordinary Tuesdays, and the one you trust for unforgettable Fridays.
